		<description>I asked the certified EPA instructor during class point blank, &quot;you mean you can just discharge the air outside unfiltered&quot;?  She said there&#039;s nothing in the rules that addresses that so yes was her answer.  Is she wrong, I don&#039;t know.  I always have the filters in my unit.

Your article seems to imply that the exhaust from the air mover does not have to be filtered if it terminates outside?

From what I understand this is not going to fly with the new rules.

What type of set up do you use to filter at the exhaust side?

I like the idea of building our own air movers w/ HEPA filters.  
Hopefully we don&#039;t find out the hard way from another agency that these little machines need to be UL Listed, DEQ / EPA / OSHA certified to meet certain specifications.</description>
