Doesn't seem to be working for me. Several threads have been added to and no email notifications has been sent out.:censored:

Did you turn it on in your CP? By default it's turned off.

I tested it and it's working here. Was it slower than expected? Or were you not getting them?
PM me if you are still having issues.

Well I rolled back here by chance and low and behold two responses. It seems to be working but it is hours behind, so much for instantaneous email notification, huh?
It'll probably take time to sort itself out after the change over.

Seems to be about 3 hours behind

Check the timezone in your profile is it correct?

Yep, Eastern time GMT -5 hrs, but right now it is -4 hrs because of DST.
It says it at the bottom of the page and it matches my clock on the computer, so I am in sync with the world......
Probably an AOL thing again.

Just try one more thing and go into the user cp, click on edit options and make sure the time zone is correct.
IF that does not work then it probably is an AOL thing

Yes, if it's only your's it is likely when AOL fetches the email.
I would think it would be more current than 3 hours though.
Try checking it here, see if you see it sooner.

It's what I use and I have very good luck with it otherwise. I like the interface, but find it lacking in some ways. But I have it setup to my my experiences a lot easier than any other interface I have used.
I have this problem on occasion on CT. But rarely any of my other forums. Lucky me.

Is aol your internet provider or just your browser?

COX communication is my ISP, I use AOL as my interface to the internet. I also use IE6 for many other things. But my email is through AOL.

Haven't received an email notification in a couple of weeks. Does it work anymore? And yes, I have my edit options set for instant email notification. I just refreshed them by choosing no email and saving and then changing it back to instant.
Could be an AOL thing. nothing in my SPAM box though.

OK I fixed it. I cheated. I have may email set to my website email which is forwarded to my AOL account. So, obviously AOL is the problem with RC notification.

If I had to photoshop it I would have to remove the capslock key. Mine ended up in the vacuum cleaner.
