View Full Version : Why does the site keep logging me off???

I am a slow typist.

Three times now I've labored over a nice long posting--only to have the post lost--SORRY BUT YOU MUST LOG IN BEFORE POSTING--

You can not post with out being logged in-Why is this happening?

I'm not a computer guru,I'm a trim guy.Please keep the answer in english:laugh3:

I think there is a 15 minute no activity limit. I could be wrong about this and it has happened to me also.

I don't know if RCninja will be around today but I will bring it to his attention.

Do you have the box checked for Remember Me?

I am also a slow typist, so what I have learned to do in case there might be an issue is to highlight all the text & hit CTRL - C which copies it to your clipboard --- Thus if there is an issue all I have to do is paste (CTRL - V) the text back & resend

It is a program that simply runs in the background - you are using a MS product right?

If you are using an Apple product, while I am sure they have something similar, I have no idea what it may be

or just "select" all of the text then right click and select "copy". It's just another way to do it what SLS and I do.

Yes 15 minutes no activity and your cookie will expire.
Easiest thing is to select all (drag mouse top to bottom of post) right click on the blue highlighted text, chose copy. If you loose your content, get to post and right click in editor and choose paste. Viola!
