Slander is making a false statement meant to hurt someone...
I wonder what they call what they did, besides SOP?

I think it's f-ing hysterical that while watching that video, a servicemagic Google ad came up at the bottom.

I looked at the 10 point check.
So here it is, they do a ten point check, but you have to check yourself.
Terms of agreement is they are not liable for anything that happens.
If you ask for a copy of the ten point check results they say get a subpoena.
What if Service Magic were a contractor
They would write you a contract for work to be done.
But the work they do may be different than what they charged you for.
You can't sue them if your not happy.
The people who did the work are not their employees.
They will not show you any paperwork unless your lawyer subpoenas them.
In the meantime they are charging interest on what you still owe and if you don't pay them for work not done they will ruin your credit.
Only in America can you legally take money from honest people like this.
But God bless them, there's a sucker born every minute and they are being well paid by marketing to mooches.

Thats my dude Deon, me and him used to work together, the reason her deck fell apart is because she needed to paint it, the paint would have held the side rail on and made the steps stiffer.
Deon said that she is too fat and that is why the boards were all warped on the floor, they must have used some CGI technology to hide how big she was Deon says.
You know you hired a good contractor when he shows up in sweat pants ..........

Just talked to a lead company today, not SM or CF.
They swear to a high satisfaction rate. My experience is they all claim a high satisfaction rate or use the amount of clients as a sort of satisfaction barameter.
This is old marketing like "40,000 users couldn't be wrong".
I don't think we'll ever see an answer that satisfies most of us. As long as there are new companies coming up they will have clients.
One guy said "Contractors need to be educated to doing their own marketing". And I agree, if you can't control your business someone else will.

With every system there is alway some one who slips through the cracks, it is unavoidable. But lets take the video with a grain of salt, the news people are always looking to do stories on business's that have controversy.
I know a lot of you don't like Service Magic but I do great with them! As long as it is helping my business then its a good thing.
However, I do believe that contractors do need to learn to market their business's online. Until they do, they will continue to depend on some one else to provide fresh prospects. If you are truly running a business you should have a firm understanding of how to market yourself to get fresh prospects.

I also recommend Estimate1.com - When looking to hire a contractor for whatever home improvement Chicago project you have planned, there are a number of things you need to find out first so that you get the quality work you are paying for. -

I also recommend Estimate1 dot com
This implies that you recommended something previously or you are agreeing with another that made the same or similar recommendation. Did I miss something?
Good Luck

Well, it ain't bacon but at least he brought something. I figured as much seeing as he has a whole post. I don't get how it could be worthwhile to go to the trouble of registering for one post. The ROI has got to be zero or less.
Good Luck

Well, he did join in July 09. Waited 10 months to make this post a classic. No food, though.
