I'll preface this post by saying this in not my work. We built a master bath in this house and the space I am posting here was built a year before we came.

I've had the good fortune to work in some amazing homes. I've seen hundreds and hundreds over the years of every shape and size. I've been through dozens of show houses and toured many of the grand manor homes of our country.

When you've been in that many houses, it takes a lot to make your jaw drop--and this room does just that.

Just as amazing as what you see is what you don't see. Two years and no cracks, no splits, no movement--and not a single exposed fastener, filled nail hole, or plugged screw.

(Unfortunately the tile work doesn't match the quality of the millwork.)

Could you say who did the trim work?

Could you say who did the trim work?

I was told at one point, but I honestly can't recall his name. He primarily works for only one design/builder. I don't believe he has a separate cabinet/millwork business of his own--but I'm not certain.

I really would like to have seen this project while it was being built. Some of the details and jointery are so perfect, I wonder how on earth they were assembled in the space without any fasteners.

The finishing is equally perfect. The sunlight through all of those windows would find the least bit of imperfection, lipage, or ding. It is as flawless a room as I have ever seen--aside from the tile work.
