Looking for some feedback from some of you guys regarding the types of tubs with a door.
Any particular brands that stand out above the rest? My potential client is looking at tubs with air jets at around the $4k mark but he doesn't want a piece of junk...
Any opinions on Glamour Bath or Saftey Tub?

I can't remember the brand, (have to look it up), but we installed one last year. Seal around the door leaked. Seems there is only one handle and it is located at the top of the door. Nothing to keep the bottom of the door cinched tight. When the user grasps the handle to stand, it warps the tub and door a bit and allows water to seep out the bottom. We put a new and larger seal on and it seems to have solved the problem.

All I can add here is that you can find them in the 3-4k range now no problem. I can't give you any info on which brand is better than the other however.
Premier had a stranglehold on the market for some time until recently. Several new players have entered the market with these lower priced models but beware and check consumer reports, epinions, etc.

I've had a little experience with these units. Get the ones with the reliable door seal that comes with a lifetime guarantee. Also, they are designed to fit in the space of the H/O's current tub. They start out at about 3K and can reach up to 13K for the super - duper - rooter - tooter!
