Unless it is code in your area. When is the last time you framed a roof with out some sort of clip or hanger??
I looked at some plans today to see if I was interested in bidding on it and there were no clips or hangers spec'd anywhere on the plans. I thought that was weird??

It did seem strange. Maybe I over looked it I was in the field all day. That usually never happen. I actually broke a sweat twice:laugh3:

I can't recall framing a roof without a Tico someplace. But I'm in earthquake country, so it's always required.
