I know your avatar limitations are pretty darned small, but the default extensions that comes with this forum for Attachments does not include a lot of them.

You have to go in there and manually enter various extensions so more files can be uploaded.

Avatars increased to 120x135
just keep in mind the larger the avatar the more everyone has to scroll to read posts.

Profile pics increased to 160x160

We'll get some more default avatars and smilies, just not at the top of the list currently.
