Has anyone seen these yet? They are not needed down here (well they may be handy a few days a year) - but for you guys up north?

The only 2 issues I see is where the control is - I can see it being bumped a little to easily & the battery only lasts 4 to 8 hours

Check into some silk sock liners. http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu61/neoliticman/smiliethumbsup.gif

WigWam and others make synthetic ones,
but I love the old fashioned silk.

Hell, I thought for a minute Neo was back! Didn't see that this was a bumped necro.

Money spent on quality footware is money well spent.

I have a pair of Sorels that keep my feet toasty warm .

Even up North I couldn't see it getting that cold, unless you were out hiking.

They make heated coats too. I've worn heated socks hunting and ice fishing. The nice thing. The best warmth comes from layering in bulky clothing. Items like these been you can dress less bulky and have more freedom of movement.

I would love to try one of these heated coats though.

Tennis shoes for me most of the time even outside. I get better traction when I am snowblowing.
I do throw in a pair of sorrels if I am traveling, just in case.
