If you advertise they will come.

I have used most of the software out there at some point, so I know most of what exists.

I just have to see what the newer versions have to offer.

I have been contacted by a few vendors already.

Word of mouth, I speak to a lot of contractors in a lot of industries so it's not to hard for me

What do you know about Contractor's Office?

I used it many years ago.

It was a add on for Hometech software at the time if I remember correctly.

It was labeled by them office Manager plus.

Then I noticed it being sold seperately and hometech stopped offering it as far as I could tell as an add on

You are right that was many years ago.

It was also, because of the years, much less sophistocated than today's version.

HomeTech only sold part of it as an add-on, the contact management and accounting. They didn't sell the estimating. It was being sold separately before and after the connection with HomeTech. We have been around since 1986.

Vaporware.

Like this?

Vaporware is a term used to describe a product, usually software (http://www.remodelcrazy.com/wiki/Software), that has been announced by a developer during or before its development and, therefore, may never actually be released.[1] (http://www.remodelcrazy.com/forum/#cite_note-0) The term is usually applied to products which fail to emerge after having well-exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle (http://www.remodelcrazy.com/wiki/Development_cycle) of a similar product. The term implies unwarranted optimism, an as yet unannounced abandonment of a project, or sometimes even deception; that is, it may imply that the announcer knows that product development (http://www.remodelcrazy.com/wiki/Software_development) is in too early a stage to support responsible statements about its completion date, feature set, or even feasibility. However, most vaporware would not be considered a hoax since the makers have a genuine intention to create their product, even if it ultimately never materializes. Products with unspecified release dates or long development times that outwardly demonstrate regular, verifiable progress in production are not normally labelled vaporware.

You're the only one that caught that. Thanks. ;)

I didn't get that term from personal experience. My wife is in the federal space dealing with this on a very high level.
