The only practical use I see is when your low voltage outlets are on exterior walls. The rest can be just as easily fished in an open bay without this product.

The bong is a nice touch though. :laugh4:

I probably would only use them on interior walls as the cross section of that thing is huge and will diminish the U value.

Only as much as another stud would. It actually might even be less because there a small amount of room behind it to insulate and there's no thermal bridging.

I'll give you the thermal bridging but that thing looks to be 2 studs worth wide
and almost as deep as the stud.

Why didn't they hit the bong in the second video?
