I just picked up the Logitech wireless mouse. It has a very small "stub" USB transmitter that you put in and just leave, it is that small. The mouse runs on a single AA battery and they actually had an alkaline Duracell in the package. Not one of the carbon batteries from a company you never heard of. I had to adjust my mouse parameters a bit as the mouse tracked a little faster than my wired Logitech mouse. Took about 1 minute to get it right. It works 10' away and farther I'm sure. But by that time I can't see the screen anyway :laugh4: The mouse itself is kinda small, I'll get use to it. But because it is for a laptop, small is good, it'll fit into the case without a problem. So far, after using it for 20 minutes it seems like a nice little device. I'll see if I can remember to do an update and find anything that is annoying or malfunctioning. I know that I will need to keep a spare AA in my case now. But I will also keep the wired mouse in there just in case.

Anyone else run a wireless mouse? This one was about $40

Another plus, I got one for my wife and they don't interfere with each other while in the same room. Didn't think of that when I bought two.

I use wireless mice and keyboards at home and school all the time. Great at school when using a projector, I can just hand the keyboard and mouse to a student.
The only problems I have run into is using bluetooth and rf at same time, gets a little wonky.

Is it this one with the stubby receiver?

This is suppose to be new and improved in that area. I really don't have many wireless periphials. We do have a wireless keyboard, but I hate the thing. It drops letters all the time, we have a wired keyboard hooked up at the same time. It is funny when you start screwing with someone and type in a few extra lettters or words. Takes them a minute to catch on.

NO the receiver is bigger its a couple of years old. It is very sturdy. That mouse and keyboard has accidently hit the wall a few times. :rolleyes3:

Just pop the batteries back in and it always works

My squirrels are getting tired of running around that wheel all the time. ANd the leather belts are starting to wear thin.

I gotta say that I am really liking this mouse. I seem to be liking the smaller size, fits nice in the hand. Didn't take to long to get use to it. I have always liked Logitech's ergonomics.

So far the only downside I can see is after you let it sit for a while it goes to sleep to save the battery and takes a small wiggle to get it going and there is a slight delay from that wiggle to the mouse moving. About 1/2 second. But it really isn't a complaint, just making an observation.

YOu had to find something to complain about didn't you!!

I'm a complainer by nature, deal with it country boy.

It's a review. Of course there will be something to complain about. I did say it wasn't a compaint, just an observation.

You gotta be realistic. There isn't much made out there that someone can't find a negative on.

Same here. Running my Logitech now for about two years. Good equipment.

I sometimes set the laptop on the lamp table and use the arm of my lazyboy as the mouse pad when I'm watching the lifetime channel.

This I use for my notebook. It's an ok mouse, but I do wish it had more buttons.
