Two of the remodeling projects I am on the homeowners want us to just prime the walls and they will paint themselves.
I am cool with that. But I want the walls to look good enough to take pictures and well not look like prime walls..
Any suggestions on primer??

Can't comment on the Sw one since i never used it but Zinsser's 123 with do that as well. Most 100% acrylics that are stain type sealers or universals will be shinier. You can also throw a few drops of black in it and dirty it up a little and it may cover better and almost look like you painted the wall..

If you know what colors they will be painting you could do a half tint in the primer. It will look like you painted and make their lives easier.

The SW product Warner mentioned is decent, if I go BM I will use theirAll Purpose 100% Acrylic, my favorite for raw drywall is ICI 1000-1200, it can be built up pretty high with out sagging and sands up great.
Unless they are paying top dollar I would go with the SW, it is good and doesnt cost as much as the BM.

How much is the BM, because that freaking SW was like 26 bucks a gallon.
It covers like a champ too. Was branded as something else earlier this year but, they changed it to the multi-purpose.
Do you get your ICI from Dulux (sp??), there by bishop dwenger, or is there another store?

I will give that product a shot. I spray very heavy and back roll so the build up should not be to hard.. I thought about tinting it as well like Deco man suggested

Benjamin moore prices here are outrageous. People love it though especially in the high end homes

There are 2 in Fort Wayne, the other one is over off of Illinois Road by the Auto Mall. Mainly I go to the one by Dwenger, the manager there is a good friend of mine and gives me a real good discount. The guy is a huge Chicago Bears fan so I tracked him down one the shirts the Bears would have got if they won the Super Bowl a couple years back when the Colts beat them. They are supposed to not sell the shirts of the losing team, but I found one on ebay. Anytime I think I deserve a lower price I just bring up that rare shirt that I got him and how hard it was to come by, works every time.

One of the homes will still have some plaster walls and they look like hell.
We are redo-ing the kitchen and bathroom but the rest of the house will be untouched..
My guys do a good job of skimming and repairs, but not being painted will be a test when pictures are taken

It is a company around here. Kinda small, cheap as hell, and most of their stuff is MEHHHHHH... but they have a couple products worth getting. Their CANCEL primer is the shit. All other companies drool over it. But again, their top of the line commercial flat is $13.XX/gal my cost... so that says something about the paint. I go in there and get an 8 pack of mini-roller covers and they have a 2 for 1 deal, I walk with 16 roller covers for $2.50! Anyway.
