Can someone point me in a direction to look for some info in obtaining information about restoring a house that is listed on a states registry.

Are there some type of grants available or anything like that?

Trying to find some Ideas for a possible gigantic undertaking.

Think 1860's gothic revival, with a twist of greek revival in there as well.

Not likely if it is going to be a private residence or a business that makes a profit. You would need to make the building not for profit museum, even then it would be tough to get one.

Get us some pictures! We like pictures!

Thanks Jason!!

You guys might be dissapointed by the pictures.

She looks tired and neglected on the outside, and maybe even more so on the inside.

There is also an outside possibility that this house might be given to me. That part is a long story but, involves some really nice sisters and a house that has been in their family since it was built.

I have tons of info on grant possibilities for historic properties, some are, and some are not bricks and mortar grants. Unfortunately, in the current economic situation some of the funding ha dried up, some are much much more difficult to obtain. But they are there.
