I saw these at HD the other day and was wondering if anybody has tried them. I can't even find them online. The photo sucks, but the blades actually have small carbide tips.

If I saw those I'd buy a few.
I'll keep my eye out for them

It sure would be nice to have a $3 blade last longer that 20 minutes. Only problem is the blade will snap at the base before it gets dull.

Next time I'm there Leo, I'll buy one and beat the snot out of it and when it get's dull, I'll do a stress test to see how easy it is to snap.

I know that half the blades I lose are because it snaps at the base. Usually because the blade gets stuck in whatever it is I am sawing. That puts a lot of stress on the base.

That's why I use the "Axe" blades Leo. I haven't had those snap on me yet.

I use those too and never get a snap.
Sometimes I bend them up nice though

I still need a sawzall that won't spit the blade out. Those do look nice. I like the regular diablo blades.. bet these are awesome too

Thats why you keep your shirt untucked so you can grap the scolding hot blade with it and bend it back:2thumbsup:

Yeah, but we're real contractors that can cope crown with our sawzall's while leo just orders up a pallet of caulk for his joints because he all that left over money from chincing on sawzall blades:grin:
Ax blades are the best ones yet i've used for demo and typical useage....but my interest is peaked in the diablo blades. thoug i tend not to get too excited about blades i use since i figure they're expendable by every letter of the word.

It helps when correcting someone's spelling to get the spelling correct.
