Interesting product.. Woobius Eye
Allows to you share, edit pictures, files and show problems areas in the field and discuss it while on site with someone else in real time.

That's pretty sweet.
How many iPhone users are there on the forum vs. BlackBerry vs. vanilla phones?
I love my BB, but I'm finding more and more excuses like this to switch to the iPhone.

There's a map for that :laugh3:
Make sure you check out the service area first, before switching carriers
Vanilla phone - I have enough problems getting cell phone coverage down here, the new Droid phone though looks nice though

The hold up for the iPod is the lack of a cellular data signal. You need to find a usable wifi spot for it to work with any data. Not too practical for the field, would be very hit and miss.
Woobius does look pretty cool though.

I can see how the woobius eye would be a great feature to explain stuff to the guys in the field or clients without having to go to the jobsite..
I think its a great concept, right now we email pictures back and forth, but real time application with the ability to draw or highlight areas would be 1000% better..
I got to get a demo of this thing :laugh3:
Interestingly the products appear to geared towards architects and I am thinking it would be perfect for contractors and remodelers

I was doing some more research on this today and see a huge market for remodelers keep omeowners abreast with this software..
How many times have you had to wait until the HO came home at night or the next day to go over change order until they could see the problem..
Or even yet an out of town client

OK Rory - I'm looking at your web site to see what all i can copy off you and notice that you have a project login for the Woobius http://servicezunlimited.com
Please tell us all about the way you have it set up and how this works. Did my RC search and this is the only thread that showed up. I will have to have Len make me on too in order to keep up with the Swans's.

right now it has project plans, selections, and pictures for two clients.. But I am switching to a Project portal that Scott is creating to go hand in hand with its estimating software...
So woobius project will get scrapped. I am still looking at the woobius eye software..
Beta should be launching soon
