I spend 20 minutes addressing the painting question in the DIY and it wont let me post it, it kept saying server busy.

Its because this site logs you out for inactivity, its not much either, like 20 minutes and your logged out.

Really? I have not had that problem? I have not logged off since I joined.

Yeah it tends to lag every once in a while for me too. I just assumed with all the coding being added in the backround they haven't had a chance to streamline it yet.

Its because this site logs you out for inactivity, its not much either, like 20 minutes and your logged out.

Then don't be inactive for 20 minutes.

Yes the changes have to be subtle to keep the site going while RC Ninja makes changes. You will see hiccups or experience time outs while he makes changes or adds features

I will not stand for this.
My first post was longer RC, I gave him the abridged version when I tried again. I couldnt face the disapointment again.

I know why it does this. When you log in, there is a radio button that says "Remember me". If you don't click that, you will be forgotten after a time. You can be composing a long post, (Modern) or whatever and you get the message about no access, server connection failed, whatever. Click the "remember me" button when you log in and Rory has to reset your log in every 20 minutes. That's a little extreme, I've been here for a few minutes and I haven't seen him flame...
