I am surprised DC is only 25.. Texas is on there multiple times, time to become a Longhorn??

Interesting Data

RCP is hardly Salt Lake :smartass2:

very nice list... Chicago 148 looks like TX is the place to be.. all tho looking down to the spots that moved up the most some upstate NY places doing well compare to previous years.

Yes my buddy in Austin is rolling. I should have stuck it out there!!

You can put your city and another members city side by side comparison (which I did with you) just for giggles.

I live at the southern end, 4 hours to northern border, SLC.
We don't have kids, and our two employees (single) drive a company truck, get to stay in a motel, we pay the food, no one complains!

Sorry for the swerve, Blue!

St. George is the city that has affected me, building has stopped and all those guys are looking at my market!

Looks like our friends in Florida have taken the biggest hit.
Half the cities on the biggest loser list were in Florida

We have a member on RC from Detroit. He is busy last I spoke with him. He doesn't stop in much lately, but since you reminded me I am going to email right now and intise him back in. His name is Darwin.

We got rated number 5 in 08 and 8 in 09. I hope we do better in 2010.

Tulsa was 72 in 08, and 19 in 09. A large gain huh? I love it here, I made a good move 6 months ago from Flint Oregon, I mean Bend Oregon. Its not going gangbusters by any means but one doesnt have a sense of eminent doom either.

I was friends with the Kitchen Solver owner in Bend.
I think he went out of business.

I've been keeping tabs, Bend is not in good shape and seems to be getting worse. Theres no fortune to be had here in Tulsa but it seems to be weathering the economic situation.

Not one city in Vermont shows up on that list. :(

Good thing I live on the NY boarder!

Do you do more work in NY than Vermont?
I noticed upstate is doing well compared to downstate, for a change.

I haven't done any work in Vermont in about 1 1/2 years. It's all been in NY state.

All my insurance has to be qualified for work in NY. The only Vermont payroll I have is for the Millwork shop and that guy just got let go.

I love Bend, I miss the micros that come out of there. Great little city, as far as atmosphere.

It was a great little town as far as atmosphere and people, a little different and cut off from the real world sort of. I like Tulsa better though, maybe because I'm a redneck at heart. Highend redneck

It's unreal!! Got a buddy that sits on the couch for a living there. Everytime he opens his facebook page he has a roof replacement request and he doesn't know the difference between wood shingles and comp!! He just calls his roofer to measure it for him and replace it, he tacks on 40% and mails a bill, and calls me laughing!

Of course it was recession when I lived there. Go figure.

I love Austin and considered it when I moved 6 monthes ago. When I was 28 and on the run from a legal matter I lived for a month on Padre Island (ate fish twice a day to survive) for a month then wound up on Lake Travis living for free doing some flood damage work. 6 years ago or so I spent the winter there and times werent so good. Economy was bad there, suprising to here its not bad now.
