I downloaded it about a month ago, just so I could use 2 diff. gmail addy's (I couldn't access both at the same time with just one browser)...I haven't really played around with it yet, just checking gmail.

You can put up to 5 email addys in one gmail account, look under settings/accounts. I have 5 in one account I keep on FF and 5 in another account I keep open in Safari, never have to sign out.

Gotchaya, thanks....I created 2 separate accounts...I just like to make things difficult for myself :smash:
Now are you able to keep more than one gmail open (in the same account) in a single web browser?
That was my problem, I could only sign into one gmail just using FF...I would have to sign out of one email to sign in to the other (no matter how many FF's I had open.
Now using chrome and FF, I can keep 'em both open.

Umm, I think we are talking about two seperate things. You can combine up to 5 email addys into one account. So when you log into the main gmail acct, you have email from all in one window.

I haven't noticed any problem like that, but I just pop open chrome when I get an email alert, but FF doesn't seem to be giving me any problems.
Time to go watch some football...oh yeah.

If you chose to let Chrome be your default browser, (it asks at install and is defaulted to yes, as all are) then it will be the default program for a number of different things.
You can change them back in firefox from the Tools - Options menu.
Under Advanced there is a box, check to see if Firefox is the default browser in startup. Check for yes.
You can set what files open in what programs in Windows Explorer (My Computer)
Tools - Folder Options - File Types
Chrome is a good browser but still has a couple of bugs. 99% of websites render just fine, every once in a while I come across one that looks a little goofy in chrome.

Just as RCP stated, Gmail can get and send multiple accounts for you. Sign into your main account, add an account for it to check. You can even set Gmail to send out through the specified account, so on the receiving end they see the email/info from the account you want.
See RCP's link above, good stuff.

I just ran through the software with Chrome and all appears to be rendering correctly (No intentions of officially supporting Chrome at this time). I did NOT notice any differences in speed between any of the browsers inside the ELMS application. I am interested to see what kind of market share Chrome is gathering.

October, 2009 – Firefox, Safari and Chrome Market Share Goes Up; IE, Opera – DownIt’s that day of the month again, when we check and let you know, which web browser is becoming more and/or less popular. So let’s begin.
Not surprisingly, Internet Explorer lost more market share and went down from 65.71% to 64.64% (1.07 point decrease).
Celebrating its 5th birthday, Firefox market share went up from 23.75% to 24.07% (0.32 point increase).
Safari is also growing steadily and managed to grab an extra 0.18 point of market share, going up from 4.24% to 4.42%.
Google’s Chrome yet again increased its market share, this time by 0.41 point, going up from 3.17% to 3.58%.
This time Opera web browser has lost 0.02 point of its market share and went down from 2.19% to 2.17%.
With the release of Opera Mini 5, it has increased its market share by a nice 0.05 point, going up from 0.3% to 0.35%.
