Dear Dr. Hammer

Dr. Hammer would answer one question a week from members, or guests. The questions must be construction related, but can be anything, such as.

Dear Dr. Hammer
My husband wants to paint the house himself to save money but he's very clumsy and falls down a lot. I love my clumsy husband and don't want to see him on a ladder.
What should I do?

No paint I'll faint Honey.

Dear Honey,

Men are born with an innate desire to cover the areas they live in with something, in this case paint. I would see if you can get your clumsy husband to take up a relaxing hobby that would take his mind away from painting.

A clumsy husband who falls down a lot might enjoy farming a small garden full of root crops. Its hard to get injured pulling carrots or beets from the ground.

Doc. I don't for the world wish to contradict, but what if Honey's hubby's hobby necessitates building a fence, i can just picture him disappearing into a black hole, albeit a rocky one.

Well Dr. Hammer, as I saw when I came on, it's plane that every nut around will try and chisel their way in. No use to bar them, hopefully in a week or two those other will quit acting so immature and get to work. always fun til somebody loses an eye.
