Well Shelly and I went to this seminar today and it was pretty inspiring. We signed up for the other 2 next week as well.

We did get some funny looks because everyone else there were high powered marketing executives from the radio stations, banks, marketing firms etc.......... and then there was Shelly and I with our little bitty businesses:o

I can honestly say that we had the best looking business cards though :)

He said to email him for the power point presentation but I seem to have lost his business card. Once I find it I'll try to post it. It was quite a deal and he was a great speaker.

Anybody that thinks social media is a passing faze ..... well check out this link www.whitehouse.gov (far right halfway down) The instructor said that if you want to be ahead of the trends in communication pay close attention to entertainment, high level politics and banking.

Hey that gives me an idea...why don't we all open up a discussion of the EPA lead rules on the White House FB discussion page?

That FB dicussion is a good idea and then forward to local congress people and chamber on their social networks. Succinct and rational points to all those posts might get some traction.
