The kitchen remodeling project doesn’t have to be a huge undertaking all at one time. There are plenty of different weekend projects that can be done to a kitchen so that the homeowners can slowly remodel the kitchen and get it to look exactly like they want. If you are considering a kitchen remodel, then you may want to consider doing some of these weekend projects for the kitchen yourself.

Install New Flooring
Installing a wood floor or even a laminate tile floor is a great weekend project for the kitchen. It may take more than one person to complete the task, but it can definitely be finished in a weekend. A new floor can change the whole look of the kitchen. It can take a dated kitchen and make it more modern by simply changing the type of flooring and updating the style of it. Be sure that if you are going to install the flooring yourself you know what you are doing and have read up on how to exactly install the floor the proper way.

Paint the Walls
Painting is probably the best weekend project for any room in the home including the kitchen. Just like changing the flooring, changing the color of the walls can easily update the kitchen and make it look completely different. Be sure to prep the walls before you paint to ensure the best paint job in the room.

Paint or Stain the Kitchen Cabinets
Another great weekend project for the kitchen is to paint or stain the cabinets. It does not take much to take the doors of the cabinets off and then paint both all the sections of them. If you have a lot of cabinets you may want to call a friend or have a family member help you get them done. One day you can take the doors off and paint and then the next re-hang the doors and it looks like you have brand new cabinets. If you don’t have the money to buy new kitchen cabinets painting and staining is the next best thing.

Change or Fix the Faucet
Although the faucet is only a small item in the kitchen, changing it can have an impact on the functionality of the kitchen sink. If you have a leaky faucet that may be costing you money, take a weekend and fix it so that you can save money on your water bill. If you have an old, rusty or impractical faucet, you can easily replace for a new stylish or practical one.

Replace the Light Fixture
Replacing the light fixture is an easy way to change the look of the kitchen. You can choose to go with something completely different such as going from a single small fixture to a track lighting or you can simply just buy a new fixture that you like better than the existing one you have. It does not take much to replace a light fixture but if you are leery about dealing with electricity you can always call a friend or family member of a certified electrician to help you out.

These are just some of the many weekend projects that you can do in your kitchen. These small projects can be done week after week and before you know you will be standing in a completely different kitchen.

Yep, I wrote some articles for them last year and answered some HO questions.
I see I got 2 lukewarm reviews from clients (who I never worked for) 3 stars, that's a bit below my standards and I never heard of the person who gave me the rating. What a deal.

Remodeleze offers a website for contractors to use, but I wonder who wants to manage content in 2 places. They think its a great idea, I don't know.

isn't this using RC to move remodeleze up on the Google ranking by using organic material?

From my liberal arts education I majored in "Master of the Obvious".

Why on earth is this guy doing SEO for a BETA site?

Why is there still test data on the contractor's pages? (Paul, I still want to meet 'cute angel'.)

Give us a huge break here. You're clogging up the airwaves with the most generic content imaginable, written by 2cent a word freelancers pulling their info from equally generic sources across the net.

Here's a weekend project, sit down at the kitchen table with a computer and finish your site. :2thumbsup:

To be honest, I don't see how this content even helps him. He has no link back to his site and like Chris said his posts are pretty basic and boring stuff. It's not going to draw any search for his site except from guys like me who want to know what his motive is for posting here.

Damn Paul, are you sure you didn't do any work for her. If you didn't....you should have.
