I would like to ensure that contractors understand that there are two form of software to consider. Software in a traditional sense is that which is installed on your company's computers. Software that is used over the Internet where nothing is installed is generally referred to as Software-As-A-Service (SaaS). I firmly believe that this SaaS is what the average small to mid sized contractor should use. No installation, no maintenance and definetely less expensive. Please do not forget to review SaaS providers (such as my product MyOnlineToolbox.com) in addition to the traditional software providers.
