What do you guys and gals like for work gloves in the winter?
I just got a few pairs of these http://www.google.com/products?q=boss+frosty+grip+gloves&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=DW8lS6CtDoealAfklcmBCg&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=3&ved=0CCYQrQQwAg and so far so good. I normally get the heavy wieght leather insulated work gloves but as soon as they get wet my hands are cold again.

I usually wear these:

Lowes carries a number of varieties in Mechanix gloves. I picked up a new pair this week that is a little thicker insulated than I've seen before.
It's tough to find something that's not only warm, but gives you good dexterity with tools. I can remember working the ramp at FedEx and shoving those little heating pads in the toes of my boots and the palms of my gloves. :surrender:

I had a nice pair a few years ago that would let you fold back the thumb tip and two fingers so you could grab screws or nails. I've never been able to find them again.

i use the nitrile ones or the blue coated
with my fingers they get cold and numb at first thats why i carry a heat gun in the winter, but once i get thru the initial sting my fingers are fine the rest of the day

I liked the ones that the siding guys wear
they are a cotton somewhat light glove that fits TIGHT and you lose no ability to handle nails etc without cutting the tips off.
Cheap too about a buck a pair.

I like to wear gardening gloves. Thin cotton, not a lot of warmth, but I don't do a lot of outside work. I wear them when I snow blow the driveway. They suck when they get wet.

I wear the CLC Thunders.
Waterproof and insulated and if you get the proper size they aren't that bad for working with.

Just picked up a pair of Ironclad cold condition. Decent warmth, not the best dexterity but better than most others that I've tried.

I had Iron Clad cold condition glove. I thought they were almost colder than wearing no gloves.
I've been wearing some Youngstown insulated gloves, pretty warm with good dexterity.
When it gets real cold I wear one of those hand warmer muffs that hang around your waist with a belt, like hunters wear. I put hand warmer packs in it. Then when your walking to a lumber pile or have just a few seconds to spare, you can take the chill off the fingers.
