I have a PEEVE!

I read several threads. Then I may decide to reply somewhere. Being a slow typer, MOST times when I hit submit, it says I'm not logged in and I lose it all!
How can I or the mods change this? It should be set for 1 hour or more of inactivity. The forum doesn't recognize reading of flipping through the threads as activity! Help!

Yes, it does cut into the enjoyment factor and is a big reason I don't hang around. I have to remember to copy all posts in case I get bumped!

It keeps me logged in just as you say - but any post that i was replying to and did not finish (lets say I left for supper) and came back a few hours later to finish. When I hit the "Submit" button it tells me that my session has expired (or something along those lines) and I loose the entire contents of my post. :censored:

It never tells you until AFTER you loose it - so if its a long post I make a copy when i remember to before leaving. This has happened several times. :smash:
