To be honest I never photographed any of my stuff until two years ago when I started my first site. Those pics are all from last two years minus several that I forgot the frickin camera on the last day. So I'm missing 20 some odd years of stuff.

I really like the way the pics show up on here. Is there a limit of three in the slide show? Can we add questions? Most important, HOW DO WE DO IT?
I know how to upload pics, but is there a template or does it happen automatically? Picture size?

These pics were 1024 x 768 before uploading. Both were below the file size threshhold.

Yup, and it never closed during the renovation. :)
I only have a few shots of it because I didn't have a digital camera in 2000.

Yes, and I know you are 'the tool man' so you can do it. But, can WE upload pictures with a mouseover title without the attached images box? Will they still be in the slide show?

Nice work. I hate vessel sinks. PITA to use on a normal height counter.
Ok, you can upload without images frame. How many can go up at a time? How much will that cost us to find out how you did it?
And don't give me this:

This place I literally carved out of a mountain side in Colorado. Used the trees on the property to do most of the framing and siding. We called it home for a few years

OK OK. Tell us in plain english for us computer illiterate people how to upload the pics.
Augie Dog
July 31st, 2009, 07:23 PM
The little paper clip thingy next to the smiley face thing in the reply screen is how you manage your attachments.
Hit the browse button. Select the picture from your picture gettin spot in your computer.
Hit the upload button.
Repeat up to tree times.
Go down and type what ever jibberish you want.
The easiest thing to do is insert all the pics at one time.
So when you have your jibberish the way you want it, put your cursor where you want the pics to show up. Hit your little paper clip thingy again. Hit Insert all.
If that took you a really long time you may lose the whole thing when you hit post response.
So here is the little trick to keep you from smashing something.
Highlight your whole response and hold down the Ctrl key while you hit the C key. That copied your work in case you timed out while messing around.
Hit post button, see if you are there.
If you dilly dallied to long and got booted, go back to the thread and post a reply. Hold down your Ctrl key while you press the V key. That pasted your copied stuff from before.
If your pics didn't show up you'll have to move faster next time.
I have been using a different method that the copy paste works for the pics too. But I can't tell you how that goes. I use Photobucket and it would take forever to tell you that.
Good luck, post up and let us know if you are having trouble

I have always been a felt kind of guy.
I can tear up an exterior wall of a house that was built in the 30's or 40's and the tar paper looks brand new behind the siding. I hate house wrap.
Gus, you sure look a lot like George Strait in that picture of you and your loyal steed.
I hope your boy didn't talk you into buying those pants he had on for him!!

There are different ways of inserting images, each will display slightly differently. You can use bbcode (http://www.remodelcrazy.com/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode) . Attach as described below. Here is the FAQ link http://www.remodelcrazy.com/forum/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_vb3_reading_posting

This (paperclip attachment icon) only shows up in the advanced post editor. If you don't see it, change setting in your control panel to use advanced editor, or click the go advanced button next to submit.
