Rockler has a pretty decent sale going through the end of January.

I noticed in the flyer they're giving $50 off when buying the CT-22 and a Rotex sander. Warner/Jason, this a decent deal?

I need to get a HEPA vac soon for April.... Anyone heard from Festool on their vacs passing muster for RRP?

Oh, forgot to mention the price:

Rotex & CT-22: $849.00
TS 55 with 55" rail & CT-22: $954.00

It's a good deal, but I don't think the EPA has approved or even tested the Festool vac's yet. It's got me a bit peeved! They are superior in every way but I think they are getting the US companies done first even though they were last to think of it!

Maybe Warner has heard something?

Does that hook into the other pocket to serve as a clamp or is the adustment for different wood thicknesses.

It looks like a clamp for assembly AFTER you've already drilled the pocket. Although the sleeved guide looks the same as the jig--so perhaps it's double duty (but would probably require another clamp to keep the surfaces flush.

That is a clamp, I think you run the driver shaft through it when you are running the screw in.

Jason- Vacs are being tested, I was told the epa kept pushing them aside and doing other things first. As soon as Rick knows what is going on, I will too.
Agree about their vacs, one of the top few you can get. Alto-wap are very nice and re-badged by lots of company's in europe.

Chris- Those are the normal package deals. You always get a bit of a break when you pair a tool with a CT. The tools hold their value well, I could probably sell my stuff off right now and re-coup all of what I paid for it.

I like that clamp, but I have enough stuff right now. Do you remember how much? I don't want to look at the site. I won't get out without buying something...

Clamp is 19.99

Might have to pick one up and give a review. We use the Kreg jig a lot for built-ins and site-built casework.

I know that feeling all too well.
