It's white everything at the moment :laugh3:
Although, if that's a serious question then white heather comes on small bushes and is considered to be lucky to carry some around with you - It looks like this (http://pages.123-reg.co.uk/whiteheathercars-1005644/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/ph50155203.jpg)
There's some about half mile or so from my house but I haven't seen any nearer

It's what meteorologists call the "wind chill factor"

Well guys, got 4 " of that white stuff and is still snowing, another 4-6 more expected today.
For my southern friends, no cars are moving, the roads are plowed, streets are salted and sanded and churches are open!
On another note, I tried my 4 wheel drive in my new truck and I'm liking it!!!
Forgot to mention, it is 7 degrees with windchill of -12!
And in Watertown where David C lives it is currently snowing and temps are about the same as mine.
On another note, we have 100% chance of snow!!!!!!!

I use to drive my motorcycle year round in New England. That is the transportation I had and that is what I used. The coldest I ever drove in was -10ºF. One thing I found out, if you go faster than 40 MPH it isn't any colder, you just get there faster. With the amount of clothing and jackets I had on I looked like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. My arms would naturally fall to about 45 degrees and not drop any farther. Took me about 15 minutes to get all my stuff off.

I don't ride below 40*...anything colder than that and it isn't such a good time for me. That doesn't mean I wouldn't if it was my only source of transportation.
When I was younger that rule didn't apply, I remember on my old Rocket3 it was so cold one night I couldn't ride faster than 30 mph.

The worst part about cold weather is everybody walks up to you and says "cold enough out there for ya ?"
Thats why I keep my hands in my pockets, not because they are cold, but to keep me from choking people who say that to me.

14 degrees here with the wind blowing this morning....Not sure what the high was today, I seldom look.
Still no snow other than a flurry. Seen they are getting a bunch of snow elsewhere though. Started my snowmobile last week, but it still has some old gas left in it and it's running rough. When we get enough snow to ride I'll change the plugs and put some fresh gas in it. Bitter cold with no snow is no fun:mad:
