Things I wont miss:
Having to keep a 6 to 10 man crew on a project that's 3 hours away from me.
Having another Millwork guy screw up $12k worth of custom siding.
My Truck payment.
A shop Foreman that doesn't show up for work and leaves the heat on full blast.

Ok - something non-political I won't miss.....hmmmm....homeowners whom are financially extremely well off, that go and use the 'bad' economy mantra to try and chisel contractors down - and feel like they're doing us a favor for giving us work when we're all 'hurting'. Jeeez, thanks a lot Mrs. I-get-my-hair-and-nails-done-every-other-week-for-$250-yet-you-aren't-worthy-to-get-paid-more-than-$500-for-painting-my-dining-room.

As a whole the year sucked.
-I won't miss the company's I subbed for that lost their asses cause they sucked balls.
-I won't miss the way we were treated by H/O'rs getting up to 10 bids or even multiple bids for a lousy texture patch and living room ceiling paint. ??
-I won't miss the year as a whole because I am not going to go down the same paths I did last year, and have a different outlook on how to sell my business/work.
I dunno how to put it into words, but that all pretty much sounds good.

For me personally, I'm glad that my 2009 (minor) surgeries are over...jesusjosephandmary...it was a long year of doing almost nothing.:smash:
umbil. hernia - Feb - 100% healed
left carpal tunnel - June - 95% healed (very, very minor pain)
right carpal tunnel - Sept - 80% (minor pains, expect next week of work will require some advil on a daily basis)
All went fine, which I'm thankful for, but damn it was a loooong year. :surrender:

Well as long as you're doing better. However, does it really matter after the 2nd kid? Haven't the twig & berries been reduced to solely a pee-pump? :surrender:

I won't miss that poor excuse of a "summer". Seriously, only 1 or 2 days above 88°.
Hello, All Gore. You out there???? :whip:
BTW, it's 14° right now.
