This may have been covered before and I just wasn't around to see it, but why is it that .gif files get changed to .jpg when they get uploaded? I have a few pics that I've wanted to post, but when I do, they change to jpg and don't move like a gif does. Any reason this is happening? Tanks.

Don't upload them, link to them from a photo storage site.

Good idea (I should have thought of that) I guess I am wondering "why" you can upload a gif, and the site changes it to a jpg? Why not just not allow gif?
