Just thought I'd share this DIY kitchen faucet installation option for anyone who would like to update or replace their kitchen faucet themselves rather than hire a plumber.
TOSCA's 5-Minute Faucet is a high quality faucet (comparable to Delta, Moen, Price Fister, Kohler) that's designed to be stylish but can be installed by anyone in about five minutes. They can be found at many Lowe's stores, Lowes.com or visit 5minutefaucet.com
I work with the brand, so leave a comment if this is something that you find useful or want to hear more about. They may have future discounts coming up that I'd be happy to share with the group!

She doesn't need introductions.
She's just here to sell faucets.

There isn't much I would consider myself DIY at. Masonry.
And don't mention my lighting skills please.

They make some pretty high-end faucets. We installed a tub/shower unit recently that had a pretty unique look.
Rachel, is the faucet you sell through Lowe's comparable to the quality of the rest of your line or is it a "scaled down" product for sale through big boxes?

Kitchen faucets aren't too difficult to tackle as a DIY. I still get myself in trouble though as I do with every "easy" project. In our old house, the PVC plumbing underneath the faucet would always pop off because the drain assembly was old and there wasn't much pipe to tighten the PVC to. I think I mess up most when messing with electrical.

I can't speak to your plumbing experience, but one of the biggest advantages of the 5-Minute Faucet for most people is the top-mount installation that eliminates the need to use a basin wrench and a bunch of time under the sink. For some that can be a big hassle and a lot of people probably don't have a basin wrench just sitting around the house. There's also no need for messing with putty or any other tools or plumbing supplies, everything you need comes with the faucet (and it's only an Allen key).
For the quality and style of the 5-Minute Faucet, there's nothing else on the market that can be self-installed or of the same quality at a lower price point. I'd love to share some pictures but I'm still too much of a newbie to the community to share any images. Check out 5minutefaucet.com if you'd like to see what it looks like and there's also a short video that shows how the installation works.
But honestly, I'm not here to spam or sell anyone faucets. I'm just here to let people know that it's an option and to be of help if they're interested. I'll do my best to answer anyone's questions!

Great to hear that the tub/shower worked well for you! The 5-Minute Faucet is made at the same factory as the shower systems and have the same high quality Italian design and manufacturing process. Since this is a new product, it's priced at a level that we hope will appeal to contractors/remodelers as well as DIYers. TOSCA would not have put its brand on this product if it did not firmly believe that it upheld all the same core characteristics as its other products.
I hope that answers your question! If you have any more, let me know.
