Renovating or remodeling the bathrooms in a house is one of the best investments a homeowner can make. Whether you are planning on selling or staying put, improvements made to the bathrooms in your home is money well spent.

A total bathroom makeover, depending on the size of the bathroom and the quality of the materials used, can easily cost upwards of $50,000.

A basic remodel on a 6-foot by 8-foot bathroom will cost about $20,000 to $25,000. A new vanity purchased at Home Depot or Lowe's can be had for a few hundred dollars. Likewise, vinyl shower enclosures can work wonders in a bathroom...

New toilet bowls are reasonable too with prices starting as low as $150 in some cases. A new toilet seat is a mere $5 at K-Mart, and well it worth it if you are putting your house on the market.

First I saw it.

Those articles are written by writers who interview a couple of contractors.
That one is better than most.

They need to learn how to break the information up and use headings

As for a $20k bath using a $5 toilet seat & a $150 toilet - talk about getting conned

$5.00 toilet seat is a piece of 1/2" CDX with a hole in it.

Naaa. CDX would be more.
