Not too bad! Those mold jobs are always an adventure, you just never know how bad it's going to be behind the wall.

Yeah, this one was easy though, the HO already had the drywall and insulation gone so I could see.
As far as the new EPA stuff, it's going to be all the record keeping stuff that's going to get me. The records for a job like this is contract, receipt of down payment, record of material payment and receipt for final payment and I'm lucky to remember and keep that. All those forms and wipe tests and junk are going to kill me.

Can you hire some one to help you keep track of the paper work? Maybe part time help??

That's not a bad idea although I'm going to see how it goes first. I might have to come up with a check list that I follow per job. The thing that kills me is they can come back on you for the next 3 years.

I'm not getting diddly for this one. I've been able to stay busy between my jobs and a realter that has a bunch of properties to work on. That's it. Gives me time to post on RC though.

Actually I'm not doing all that bad. My realter gig has helped and can network while working. Tough building a business in this economic climate. Contractors not from MI have a hard time relating to what has been going on in the mitten for the last 10 years.

I think the EPA paperwork is the least of your concerns:
Did you complete the Mold Remediation Forms 2009 – A – sec 1 and 306-9. They’re each 16 pages long and need to be filled out in triplicate – originals only.
Then there’s the Drywall Cutting Safety Report Form 210-B. It’s only one page but 8-1/2” x 48”.
Also the EPA sent a guy out to hold your dick while you took a piss – You do have Workers Comp for HEAVY LOADS - don’t you? If he didn’t wear a back brace, you’ll also need to fill-out From 661 (make sure your attorney reviews this one – its 71 pages long and has fines of $32,000 if inaccurate).
Then there’s the Port-a-Potty inspection report that goes directly to the President’s desk – you did fill-out Form 109-32.56 sec C. – Didn’t you? If you didn’t, you’ll need to wait 364 days till they can get a haz-mat team to verify that Form 204 – Federal Hand Washing Procedures Verification Before Sending Reports Directly To President - was filled-out correctly. Wait the EPA guy held you dick - so then you’re allowed to fill-out Form 204 – Short Dick Form (that’s just what the EPA guy said).
Then there’s the State of Michigan and the city of Grand Rapids stuff that I won’t even get into.
The government estimates that the cost to comply with the paperwork is $3.50 (plus attorney’s fees).
I think if you comply with this minimal paperwork, its clear sailing from here-on-out. You should have this job done in 8-10 months.
That’s just my opinion. Maybe someone see's something I missed.

Good news, I got everything covered except one.
Also the EPA sent a guy out to hold your dick while you took a piss –
I have two girls from the Swedish bikini team that take care of that, guess I'm not in compliance. I'll get on that right away-thanks!

Just trying to help you with the right paperwork. Don't want to be visiting you behind bars.
BTW when you had the Swedish bikini team out - did you get any pics?
