Tub Protection in New Construction

How many of you have had tubs damaged during construction?

Saw this product at a Builders Show, showed it to a GC and we tried for the first time.

I am also using this as part of my marketing to the higher end NC GC's.

I have a gallon of it but never tried it. How did it peel off? was always concerned about peeling finish off tub after done remodeling.

Chipped an $800 tub on a $12K bath remodel when I was still doing them. I am not sure whether the tile guy, plumber, electrician, my men, myself, or the HO did it. Fixed it before they noticed with a $3 tube of porcelein repair. Freaked me out though. Thank god it was really close to the wall tiles on the lip in the rear corner. Couldn't tell once it was fixed. If I did a lot of projects that required tubs, I would be interested.

A little bit in material and labor would of saved you from ever getting that headache.
