Pretty cool! I wonder if it can be used for load bearing walls?
Found a link to the manufacturers http://www.litracon.hu/
"Load-bearing structures can be also built of these blocks, since glass fibres do not have a negative effect on the well-known high compressive strength value of concrete. The blocks can be produced in various sizes and with embedded heat-isolation."

I can see some really cool bar tops
and floors made of this.
Showers with the light source coming
from the walls....

Probably end up costing more than a glass wall. Fiber optics are pricey. Maybe they can buy all the reject FO and use them and get them dirt cheap. Now you can have your glass house and throw rocks too.

:laugh4:
Should be cheaper than glass.
Fiber in quantity is not so expensive
now that millions of miles of it have
been run...

Fiber optics hmmm. Isn't that the same stuff that transmits telephone information. Can you guess where my one brain cell (only slightly charred from the 70's) is going?
