I think we will need a section on green remodeling and services. I know a lot of guys think its bull. But it is picking up steam big time around here

Put it in the HO or general area would be my suggestion - I got one article for it (What is Green Remodeling)

I agree on a green section, a lot of guys would contribute there, we can't ignore stewardship.
Good idea.
I got a nationally known green guy as a friend, I have lunch with him and we argue the whole time, great guy. I will ask him to show up.

I've tried to be interested in green. Okay so green means being well insulated and efficient use of water, electrical, so far so good but then it gets weird for me. A house built with all this recycled type stuff wont be here in 75-100 years, wheres the green in that?
TGI's, OSB, MDF will start failing after 60-70 years, thats just my opinion of course but I bet I'm right.
Real green would also mean lower maintenance and longer life wouldnt it?
My two cents.
