The Construction Marketing Ideas forum contest ends this week and if you like Remodel Crazy (the newest forum in the bunch) please give us a vote.
We think we are different and deserve some recognition.
Here's the link, vote early, vote often (just kidding).

Bump.

Vote early, vote often.

There's also a favorite blog category, and you'll seen some familiar names there as well.

I've voted for all the RC members several times now. Voting often is the Chicago way! Best of luck to RC, Sean, Kelly, Tim, and Ruby.

Voting is over on the 28th, whatever happens, its exciting to even be mentioned as a contender.

To all who voted thanks,

To all you who voted more than once the RC staff sends their love.

What the hell, winning anything is better than not winning

I will have to give it to Mark - that is a clever way to bring people to his site as well as harvest email addresses, but it also showcases other blogs and forums that I had never heard of. Hell I had never been to Construction Marketing Ideas either as far as I can remember.

I voted for Contractor Talk (love that place) - how about you guys?

I voted for RC and a few of the members blogs...

BTW I wouldn't vote for CT, Natan doesn't deserve any recognition for poorly run sites IMO.

No Mention of PT :)

I gave the contest another day because I realized ending it on a Sunday right at the conclusion of the Olympic Gold game would not do justice to people who received word on the weekend and would get to their office computers Monday morning. The thing will definitely wrap up 5 pm tomorrow.

As for the voting, I will try to figure out how Bobby Darnell spread the word so effectively -- there are lessons for all of us in viral marketing there -- and Michael Stone showed he really has loyal followers. (You can tell a lot by the comments which came along with the votes. I forwarded these back where I could to the bloggers -- great testimonial material for their businesses.)

The forum votes I think are fairer and more representative than the blog votes simply because there weren't highly organized campaigns where people/organizations with absolutely no connection with the industry were called on to vote.

All the blogs will receive hyperlinks going forward, and I will interview/write about the winners in the next few weeks for the Design and Construction Report. (http://www.dcnreport.com)

(And, yes, I picked up a few leads and permission to send my newsletter to a few hundred people. It has been a fun project.)

Time to wave some Canadian flags now.
