Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words.
So, why can't I Copy/Paste an image into a post?

I think you have to save it to file first then use 'manage attachments' below. That is unless Rory has been playing with the buttons and switches again.

Click this in the editor, paste the url in the popup box.

Other wise use the advanced post editor box with the attachment method (Go Advanced) - or use the bbCodes

Ed, I think for what you are trying to do you need to have the WYSIWYG post editor selected.
Go to User CP then Edit Options.
Scroll down to the bottom and you need to select Enhanced Interface instead of Basic Editor or Standard Editor

I won't assume direct posting of pictures would hamper us from being able to remove content and would have to delete the whole post. Not a major biggie but easier to moderate.
also when you upload the pictures they stay with you and you can modify and post them in other sections from with in the forum

Technically, it should still look the same to you in whatever editor you're using.

Rory,
Moderating Attached Images is a very simple One Click Task.
If anyone posts an offensive photo, you don't have to delete the entire post, just the image that is attached.
