1 and 2 were good, not feelin' 3 though. WTF is the deal with the cabinets over the range or whatever that is? I've seen better solutions for that scenario.

I think the premise of a customer testimonial is great, I am working on one now, still have to do some editing, slow it down and am waiting for finish pix.

I don't have a problem with testimonials, I just wasn't feeling the love is all.

That's why I picked that one I would like to do one to. Put on my gold chain and open my shirt up a bit?

That is what I meant by the premise, or idea of testimonial.
I am not feeling the love on mine either! It is at end.

RCP, the video seemed very professional and your testimonial, although I heard no speach, was more in line of my personal liking. In your case the customer is speaking to the viewer, not to a third party liason. Speaking directly to the viewer, IMO, will grab the interest of the viewer and tend to hold their interest longer.

Dang, I had not realized it covered the sound when I used the AudioSwap! I will take the sound off now and re-edit it later. Thanks

That kitchen in the third video, was the ugliest I have seen. Were those the 1970's dark stained cabinets that were just re-finished? Who picked out that ugly ass hardware?

That 3rd video was like a, this is how you dont want something to look video.
The kitchen makes me want to puke.

Ok, better now. I guess it is a good idea. Too bad not many actually have the internet here in town. Older people that I know, dont mess with email and that stuff.

I think the idea is the cats ass and the videos will continue to evolve. I would love to have one embeded on my web site - it gives the perception of even more credibility.

Video killed the radio star. :mad2:

At FW&D we have a channel on YouTube so prospective clients can view different home improvement projects that we have completed. It's still a work in progress. The next video project is testimonials and of course we'll keep adding remodeling projects as they're completed.

Do you think there will be or have you seen a benefit from having the you tube videos?

It's two years old and yellow pages owns it. Wish I could take it and put more current/different pics in it. There was a guy at CT a couple years ago that I talked to on the phone. He does websites and what have you. He said they are the easiest things to create. Maybe soon I will go back through my 1500 posts over there and figure out who that guy is and call him. Or atleast get him on here to pedal himself if thats OK with Paul Silverfish.

Oh yeah! When prospects call in we ask for their email address and send them the link to the YouTube channel, the web site, and the blog. That gives them an opportunity to view our work, search our company, answer questions they may have prior to us meeting with them. It also gives us credibility in the fact that we have modernized our marketing processes and therefore we are also up to date on other practices and aspects of business.
