I have a job to put a surround on a stainless steel sink. Make it look like a cabinet. Today I went to do the fitting before I finish it. A little more time but I don't have to deal with working on a finished product.

Here's a before and sort of after, just the basic face frame and side. The side will have a panel and the holes will have doors and drawers, all overlay.

After, not done yet of course.

How do you know it isn't on a GFCI breaker?

My wife crochets, but in my mind she is still the sweet young thing I married 40 years ago.

Sorry I can't see the little sticker in the photo.

The frame is really going to dress up that sink. Pretty industrial stuff for home use.

I'm pretty sure it is a standard outlet. Not my business or gig. [you should know from the light shot in my kitchen :laugh4:] I might mention it to them since it has come up a few different times on the different forums. I just have to remember.

OK, got one of the cabinet surrounds install. The SS sink surround. Had a small snafu. On of the hinges hit the sink. It made it so it wouldn't lay flat. So I took it off and ground a 1/4" off the back. Now it fit nice, to bad I had to grind off one of the screws that did the in and out adjustment. I thought I had it fixed, I opened the door and the hinge slipped and moved 3/16" outward. I figured I would have to take it off and spot weld it. But I just drilled a hole in it and put a screw through it and everything is A-OK.

Here are a few shots. Tomorrow I will surround the butcher block table.

She's ecstatic about it. She hated that sink. Don't know about the husband. He got home and they were about to sit down for dinner. I was cleaning up at the time, when I said good night to them they were just finishing up. I'm sure he'll love it too.
