If you are ripping and shaping Azek,
don't wear your forest green chamois cloth shirt. http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu61/neoliticman/smiliethumbsup.gif

Very messy stuff for sure. Try a Tyvek suit next time.

I cut a 3/4" X 3/8" rabbet in about 500 line feet of that stuff a while back. Had a stacked dado head cutter in the table saw.

It looked like it had snowed all around the work station. Nasty dust too, had a respirator on the whole time.

Azek mills real nice though.

No dust collection allowed or something?

I use it, and catch most of it. Still, some escape's and it gets everywhere!

I was in the back yard of a job site with a Bosch table saw. I just let that stuff fly like it was Christmas Eve in Austria.

What and have that nasty crap
stuck all over my vac? :laugh4:

That dust is nasty. Worst problem is it takes about a thousand years to completely disappear. Learned this the hard way.
Have you ever vacuumed soneones gravel driveway before?

Just as good.
Used a router to trim a radius end
on a deck over hanging a planter
(@ 20').
Turns out they weren't going to
change the mulch after all....http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu61/neoliticman/smilieeek.gif

I really want to try out some Azek, I've never had the joy of using it yet. I can order it from my lumber yard but they don't stock it.

I think I'd be hooking my vac up for sure though

Yep, my own driveway, after I built the addition on my house a few years back. I swear I can still see some flakes buried in the bluestone. :mad2:

Cut a bunch of Trex decking for a job last year--I ended up shoveling two 5-gal pails of brown plastic dust from the pile under the tablesaw.

Tip: Don't reuse your paper 7-11 coffee cup more than 3 times at the most. Otherwise you will go to pick it up at the register and it will fall apart and 24oz of coffee will soak the counter.. floor.. possibly the lottery tickets.. and make you look like a huge D/A..

Oh.. this is wood working.. sorry:o

Just rephrase it so you don't take your 3rd time use of a coffee cup and place it on your current woodworking project.

There, now it is construction related. :laugh3:

I have the occasional drink, usually a Seagrams 7 and Ginger Ale and every once in a while I'll have a beer, Becks, Rolling Rock, Coors.

There is an aluminum recycling plant
in Conn, that exists solely to deal
with Leo's empties.

They had to open up another yard to keep up with me.
