I just started thinking about them the other day.
I think they are a really good idea to make a deck a lot more user friendly in the middle of summer and seem fairly reasonable.
Anyone install them?
If so whats the average ticket price?

We put in a good number of them.
Especially the ones that automatically extend when it starts to rain.
Price really depends on size and choice of fabric.
I've put some in that started at $2500 for the unit, and some large ones that were tens of thousands.
We haven't had many call backs either, which I didn't expect.

I've put in a few of the sunsetter awnings for folks. Make sure you bring help with though, they weigh a ton. Figure 3-4 hours depending on the type of siding that you're drilling through and site conditions.

Nice--this is above and beyond the call of duty. The one's that I've done were right below the soffit, not much chance of rain, etc getting in, but I still like your way better.
