That is what I get from my wife. I spend countless hours on something making sure everything is perfect and show it to her and her comment.

I'll probably get mocked for asking this dumb question , but how do you register the miter in the curved piece? Since it won't lay flat against the backer on a chopsaw.
It looks like it's a 45 degree miter on both pieces. I'm looking at it and wondering how you strike the line and make the on the curved portion.

It is a 43.7º angle on the straight pc. I marked a line on the curved pc and put it in the chopsaw and creeped up on it until I got it right on the line. I put the pcs up and the straight pc was hanging slightly down on the right side. I bumped the angle a bit and it was good.
I figured out the angle using my CAD program. But I put the 2 pcs on the wall and where they crossed I put ticks on them and drew a line across. That is how I did it in real life in the field.
