I have 2 of those old "Cheesecake" calendars from the 50's.

I like em.

I'll be in the EPA club pretty soon too I'm sure. But my photo will look more like this:

I wonder if there will be a Top Ten Most Wanted EPA Scofflaws?

Scofflaws, now there's a word I don't hear everyday. But it does seem to fit you.

On this ruling, no good will come of it I'm sure, just another way for unlicensed guys to offer a better deal.

Is it too late for all the contractors and HOs to file a class action suit against the EPA for not acting on this sooner?
Due diligence was clearly not exercised in informing the public or we would not have been poisoning kids and sucking lead dust for years.

Appalling.

I can live with the rule, I can't stand the people that are gleeful in its support, some of them act like they invented good work practices.

I sign some comments I write as "Paul the Baby Killer"

$190 for the class, $300 for the EPA and you need pamphlets $50 (I have some ordered), Vac $600 and so on.

We'll trade tips as this plays out.

Hey I have a serious question about the "tips" deal. the Paul.. you want to start a thread? I think this is going to be the single best way for us to save our own costs on stuff. As I looked out on this house, there is a ton of peeling paint. I know I want to control the peeling paint while I scrape (I am adding a 15.00/day allowance JUST for new mask filters..) while getting the benifits of a primer. I was thinking of shooting the area with primer before scraping. That way I could scrape the area/ seal it kinda at the same time without producing alot of dust.

Yeah, we'll start sharing tips.

You can start your own area you know. Its a bit of work but the forum is set up to do things like that.

TIP: I print my own pamplets, I have a printer that has a brochure feature. Total cost per brochure: about 20 cents.
