I am looking for an extra narrow bathtub---like 28" wide for a remodeling project. Any suggestions on where I can look?
Preferably an acrylic tub--maybe with a shower surround too, or I can always tile.

Aker may.
They make some odd sized items.
Used a 54" wide tub/shower surround at the inlaws, it was a really nice unit.
I think it was 28" wide.

My in-laws have a manufactured house on a crawl, both tubs were 54".
Aker was the only real company that made a nice tub that size.
I believe it was 28" wide as well, let me find a link.

Chris, I threw the 54" tub into this. I don't think Rory is looking for a 54" wide one, just 28" depth.
Edit: The actual replacement one's that are just like the trailer ones, especially the garden tub one's are flimsy and super expensive.

I spent two years building garages, covered porches, decks, and basement stairs for a company that did the whole land home package thing, for modular homes.
Man, framing garages and siding them was gravy work. I got paid what I wanted and always had a check within a week of completion.
Like all good things, it came to an end.

I was getting the work from Auburn Homes.
They owned a huge trailer park here and also sold the cracker boxes.
It was a sweet gig, we were doing the foundations, crawl or basement, garage foundation, and building all the stuff too.
Too bad my old buddy that did the concrete work got greedy and thought they could build stuff too.
Took them 3 more before they got sued. Apparently they were doing a crappy job of tying the garages to the houses and had major leaks. One of his guys actually said that is what happens when you add on to something.
