The economy got what it needed in April: a burst of hiring that added a net 290,000 jobs, the biggest monthly total in four years.
Job gains in April were widespread. Manufacturers, construction companies, retailers, professional and business services, education and health services, leisure and hospitality, and government all showed gains. Among the weak spots: transportation, warehousing and information companies, which all cut jobs.

We've reached a point where we are turning down a considerable amount of work because we don't have the staffing, so we are hiring again.
I can't say it's a boom. Pricing is still tight, but there seems to be a lot less anxiety on the part of our clients. We are seeing a lot of work that was put on hold suddenly on track again.
