That's gorgeous Ryan. I probably wouldn't get much work done at that site though, I'd be too busy admiring the view.

Slap a coat of white paint on it and you're good to go.
:laugh3:

Beautiful Ryan:)

Are those Azek caps on the tails and sills?

...And where are that guy's shoes?

Thanks guys, it's a great job and a great opportunity and will be getting a lot of coverage being the first Platinum-rated LEED home in BC.

That's the architect (and owner), we get him to do fun jobs like screwing down the decking. Also, he's very ana.... err.. I mean... "concerned" about his decking and everything else on the job  :surrender: He often follows behind us with rags, brooms, or a vacuum when we're working inside :o

The roof is Galvalum and all the flashing is aluminum. The metal roofers did the roofing and beam caps. I did the rest (and it was so fun :mad2:)

In the photos, the big one's not screwed down yet, I just did that one Tuesday.

It looks very neat, squared away. http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu61/neoliticman/smilie/smiliethumbsup.gif
It doesn't look like a lot of fun.

(I'm talking about the flashing details.)

I hope he likes staining wood because he has a lifetime of maintenance on that place.

Nice work!

You don't see much exposed wood construction being done around here unless it's a low end deck or an occasional high end garage door.

Thanks for sharing.

It's part of the Fraser River right here (http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=49.087892,-123.104296&spn=0.011284,0.027874&z=16). If you zoom out you'll get an idea of how big it gets, though this part has a lot of small islands full of birds and stuff. There are also seals and sea lions sometimes. :2thumbsup:
