The drawer is 10 1/4"t x 47 3/4"w x 21d, Dovetailed, Poplar sides and 1/2" birch plywood bottom.

I make everything out of Maple now. But this is something I made a long time ago and needed to copy it.

Are the sides 1X Poplar? And a single board?

5/8" thick, yes one board.

It came out of a 11 1/2" wide by 15' long and 15/16" skip planed board.

Nice . Looks like it has some pretty grain pattern going on.
