Been doing a lot of smaller jobs lately, just happy to have work!

Parameters on this one were to install a 48 inch pre-hung french door with clear glass and true divided lights.

Left to figure the rest out on my own, just the way I like it. :2thumbsup: Gotta go back to put the dummy levers on, lumber yard was out of stock, imagine that.

Nice work Owen - so what did you use for the panels, MDF?

1/2 inch MDO, I try to avoid using MDF whenever possible.

The "raised" part of the panel is a piece of poplar 1x8 milled down and glued with full spread wood glue and pinned.

I cheated, is Leo going to yell at me?

Nice work.

What's the detail on the arch? Hard to see.

Looks like the side-lite panels could've used a stile on the outside.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from on that Chris, I felt like something didn't look quite right but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Arched panel has a faux raised center as well, it's pretty skinny and small as I maintained a similar reveal as the side panels.

Yell at you??

Looks like you came up with a good solution. The only think I might have done different is used a smaller bevel to put a larger flat on the curved upper panel.

YOU DID GOOD!!

Duh - that's twice I screwed those two up, at least this time it didn't cost me a restocking fee

Looks great Owen. I like the way the arch turns level. Sharp:)
