Finally got pics of a bathroom we did last year. This is the same client we did the siding and window job for recently.

The client is a graphic designer so he did the pics for me.

Incidentally if you want to see some really cool graphic design and photography of old abandoned buildings along with interesting articles check his blogs out:

Here is his graphic design blog site:
http://manalivedesign.blogspot.com/

Here's his photography blog:
http://tombphotography.blogspot.com/

Some of you might find his photography blog of particular interest because of the architectural and historical nature of many of the posts.

His hobby is sneaking into and photographing old buildings, mostly abandoned government asbestos contaminated ones.

Note the photography site link above is his old site and he has links on it to his newer site on Tumblr.

Anyway, here's the bathroom:

Here is a cool shot he took during demo:

And here's one I think looks cool, I love how a great photographer can take a picture of something pretty mundane and make the overall picture look so cool:

I like Barclay's "D" curtain rod
for tubs in that position, but I'm not
fond of the rest of their set up.

There is a down rod/ceiling support
for the outboard side, not shown
for some reason....

That looks like a nice setup. The Strom we installed was not rigid enough for my liking.

Strom faucet was nice though.

Very nice. Love the detail shot of the tile, too.

Masonry outside walls? Did you have any problems with the structure of the floor? Looks like it was pretty hacked up.

Yes, we did have problems with the floor. Generally speaking the original construction of the house was very poor.

The floor joists were twisted and bowed to boot so to beef them up we laminated strips of 3/4 inch plywood to them so as not to pull them straight and screw up the textured ceiling on the first floor.

We also laid an 1 1/4 subfloor.
